I have, over the years, grown to love and rely on my Original Levis Carpenter jeans, and now Levis has decided to revamp the styling of that jean into something unrecognizable. I guess they're marketing whizzes decided that the under 20 hipster crowd would be they're sole focus going forward and to hell with the loyal carpenter jeans wearing men and women who buy they're jeans year after year for purposes other than just looking cool! I am so disgusted with the changes Levis made to my beloved Carpenter jeans I actually took the time to start a petition asking them to revert back to the original styling. Now why don't you take the time to go sign my petition and when I get enough signatures I will send it on to Levis Corp. Maybe we can make a difference. This review is from: Levi's Men's 514 Builder Carpenter Jeans (Apparel) I always order the normal Levi's carpenter jean I always thought they looked a bit baggy in the legs for me. When I saw this strait leg version I thought I'd give them a try. Anyone who orders the regular carpenter jean know's they run very big. Im normaly 34/32 in regular pants .. carpenter jean I'm 32/30 I gambled and ordered the strait leg jean 34/32 when I received my order along with two pairs of regular carpenter jeans I was surprised that they were way to small in waist. so with regular carpenter I am 32 inch waist and strait leg carpenter Im a 36 inch waist pretty big difference not worth the $30.00 more either.
