This review is from: Levi's Men's 505 Straight Fit Light Weight Trouser Jean (Apparel) Be cautious of other reviews on here and when you order these. This is specifically a lighter-weight denim 505. The fabric is deliberately not as thick/heavy as a standard 505. I actually ordered these by accident not realizing that, but it was a happy mistake. The lighter-weight denim is actually very comfortable and makes this a great warm-weather summer jean. My normal Levi's can be pretty warm, but these have got just the right feel for spring weather. The overall construction is good, fit is good, and personally I think the Static color makes it a fairly modern 'dressy' pair of jeans. Would love to see more options/colors in this version of the 505. I HAVE PURCHASED THESE JEANS MANY TIMES IN THE PAST. THE PAST THREE HAVE A UNACCEPTABLE AMOUNT OF SHRINKAGE IN THE WAIST. THEY WENT FROM A WAIST SIZE OF 34 TO A 32 AS MEASURED BY SEAMTRESS AND SHE SAID IT WAS A SMALL 32. THE LENGTH ALSO SHRANK 2 INCHES. I ALSO PURCHASE WRANGLER'S AND CAN YOU BELIEVE THEY STILL MEASURE A 34 INCH WAIST. SORRY, BUT LEVI HAS TO DO BETTER. I STILL HAVE THE JEANS, IF LEVI WANTS TO VERIFY , THEY CAN EMAIL ME AND ARRANGE FOR A RETURN. OTHER THAN THAT, I WILL CONTINUE TO HAVE A DEGRADING OPINION OF THEIR PRODUCT.
