This review is from: Levi's Men's 505 Straight Fit Light Weight Trouser Jean (Apparel) Be cautious of other reviews on here and when you order these. This is specifically a lighter-weight denim 505. The fabric is deliberately not as thick/heavy as a standard 505. I actually ordered these by accident not realizing that, but it was a happy mistake. The lighter-weight denim is actually very comfortable and makes this a great warm-weather summer jean. My normal Levi's can be pretty warm, but these have got just the right feel for spring weather. The overall construction is good, fit is good, and personally I think the Static color makes it a fairly modern 'dressy' pair of jeans. Would love to see more options/colors in this version of the 505. They feel like the slightest snag on a door latch or brush with a protruding object would rip them wide open. Though I am keeping them as I am too lazy to return them, I will buy any future pairs of 505s locally where I can see/feel the material in person.
